Feature · Family & happy moments
This is us
A tab of its own for the people instead of the tasks: everyone appears as a big, colourful tile with their background and profile picture. Below it hangs the happy moments wall – pancake Sunday, the first goal, riding without stabilisers. No points, no duty. Just what was nice.
Family tab
Big tiles, no numbers
Everyone at a glance
Every member as a tile with their own background and profile picture, yours marked “YOU” in the corner. One tap opens the person full screen – with their happy moments.
Badges only for the leaders
💎 Super saver – has the most diamonds right now. 🏆 Points champion – the most points overall. 🌟 Star of the month – the most this month. On a tie everyone gets it; the others see no number.
In every view
The tab is part of every view – including the kids’ simple view: Today · Goals · Family. Outside of families it is called “Us”.
Happy moments
What was nice today?
Tap the floating plus, then Capture, briefly write what was nice (up to 140 characters), pick one of six colours and a sticker, optionally a photo from the library or straight from the camera – and an animation that plays when someone taps the card. For happy moments all animations are free.
- Colourful, slightly tilted cards with tape on a shared wall
- Reactions ❤️ 😂 👏 – one tap, tap again to take it back
- Everyone else gets a notification that leads straight to the wall
- Kids and guests capture moments too
Deliberately different
No points, no rating
Happy moments earn no points and no diamonds – they are meant to be remembered, not collected. Everyone can delete their own, admins all of them. They do not appear on the kitchen board; only greetings sent explicitly to the kitchen board hang there.
Why
Working together also needs being together
collabDoo organises duties. The Family tab is a reminder of what it is all for: the people on the tiles. Whoever fed the rabbits and unloaded the dishwasher all week sees not just points on Sunday – but the photo of the pancake breakfast.
