How do style and spells work?
You find both under plus → Spells & style 🪄. You pay with diamonds; stars and goals never change because of it. Pranks are just looks and still carry the Beta label in the app.
Part 1
Style your own app
- Open the shop
Plus → Spells & style 🪄. At the top is Style my app ✨.
- Choose a slot and item
Tap Ring, Frame, Celebration, Sounds, App icon or Sparkle and pick an item. The trade dialog shows a live preview (sounds to try out) and the price.
- Trade
Confirm with Yes. The item is yours for 30 days – meanwhile you switch freely between standard and your items. Tapping your active item extends it by 30 days.
Part 2
Put a spell on someone
- Choose a person
In the shop under Put a spell on someone 🪄 – or in the Family tab on a tile and Put a spell on Anna. Anyone not available right now is shown with the reason (“already spelled today – try tomorrow”, shield, not joining in).
- Choose a prank
Pranks marked 🎮 can be blocked, master pranks cannot (and cost more).

Confirm – the wand charges up, “Abracadabra!”. The person gets a notification with your name.
Afterwards your wand needs a break (Your wand is recharging …, default 12 hours). Whoever you spell may take revenge right away though – only your own wand needs time.
Part 3
Spelled – what now?
Next time you open the app, Tom put a spell on you! appears. You have three options:
- Block it (🎮 only)
Block it starts a random mini game: bonk the heads, tic-tac-toe, Simon says, stop in the green or memory. One try. Won: Blocked! The spell is gone. – and you may Send a counter-spell once within 24 hours (no waiting).
- Break it
Break the spell for diamonds: the spell ends right away and whoever spelled you is told. Also works after a lost defence and for master pranks.
- Wait it out
After the set duration (default 24 hours) it says “Spell broken!” by itself.
In the shop you buy a 🛡️ shield: nobody can spell you for 24 hours. A spell already running stays.

Everyone can switch off Join in on pranks for themselves – then they can neither be spelled nor cast spells. Pranks only work in the spelled person’s app; kitchen display, e-ink and widgets stay normal.
